Personally, I don't care if the senator from Idaho wants to solicit sex from another man. I just think the whole situation is being blown out of proportion. Any public figure that is involved in some kind of sexual situation is always made into top news. I just don't see how this really is any different than going to a club to try and hook up with girls, i.e. solicit sex from. But why the fuck is an undercover cop sitting in a stall, trying to get some dude to have sex with him. Not like he was dressed as a prostitute in a sting operation.

i think hes guilty. he admitted guilt. what if you are on a family vacation passing thru an airport and your young son needs to go to the bathroom. some piece of shit like our senator could ruin his life.... theres obviously been problems out there or the cops wouldnt be doing sting ops. when i was about 12 i was in a bowling alley bathroom and some creepy old dude tried to molest me. he tried to get me into the stall and who knows what the fuck he would have done. i ran out and told the counter people and they did nothing. a lot has changed in that amount of time though

I do agree with you on that point, but what bugs me is how much airtime and publicity something like this gets. I know he admitted guilt, but won't resign and won't admit he's gay. How the hell do people like this get elected into office? I just wish we could turn our focus onto more important issues.
