again i never said it wasnt cheating.
And last time i checked...YOU or I dont matter one bit in the history books of either of those sports. So yes we know you hate hate hate.....but in the end..no one is going to look back and reference you for official nfl/mlb historyLeave a comment:

now see that wasnt even my point. Too bad you read too far into it!
Im just noting anyone who mentions about the asterisk are just the ones who really hate/dislike them. Because the sports they play in havnt officially done so. And since governing bodies who run those sports also affect the history thats written, and you dont...that further goes with what im saying.
Never did you hear me dispute that they didnt do something wrong/potentially did something wrong/possibly did something wrong in the past. Ya know?
;)
That's just it, they don't have to "officially" do so. Belichick was fined for cheating That came from the NFL. Bonds is also a cheater. And many others.
It doesn't have to come from the league they are in. The fines speak for themselves. And so does cheating.
Your "argument" is pointless and semantical.
Like I said, the people that have any self respect will see it for what it is, cheating. And it does make a difference.Leave a comment:

I actually have nothing against bonds, besides the fact that he cheated. Ive always been one to pull for him actually. But the fact that he broke aarons record on steroids is a reason for an asterisk.Im just noting anyone who mentions about the asterisk are just the ones who really hate/dislike them. And as for the governing bodies doing nothing about it, thats true. SO FAR. Bud Selig has said on an interview with Dan Patrick that if he is found guilty of perjury, lying about taking steroids, or fails a drug test, he wouldnt be opposed to putting an asterisk next to the record. He also said that every fan already has the asterisk in their mind anyhow. which I think is true, Bonds hater or not.
I can say the same for the Patriots. Everyone knows they got caught cheating. So asterisk or not, officially, I have one in my head. I do like how the New York times has one next to their record in the sports page with a big fat "caught cheating" for the asterisk, lol.Leave a comment:

Really, so you think any player in MLB that doesn't do steroids is either ok with other players doing steroids or is just a hater.

They cheated. End of story. Whether or not you think so, it looks bad to anyone that has any self respect.Leave a comment:

There are different things you can do to get an upperhand, and there is cheating. Opening doors for wind, whatever. Reading signals that come in from the sidelines, whatever. But video taping after youve been warned already, and still doing it? Thats another ball game. You dont get fined $500k and a first rounder for any of the offenses except for the taping.Leave a comment:

asterisks are only placed by bonds and the pats by the people who hate them.Leave a comment:

The size of the fines speak for themselves. They don't fine for nothing.
********One of those will always live with the 08 Pats.
Cheating is cheating.Leave a comment:

I didn't make that up --- that was said by Bill Parcells while commentating on a game during the week following the "scandal".And holy shit, are you joking me? Opening the doors to get more wind? I didn't know they let retards on the internet.
You're not understanding things properly. Yes, all of the coaches have tricks. They are called schemes and they design them to fit the team they're playing. Only difference with Bellichick (sp?) is that he cheated and used cameras to see play calling strategies. No one else does that.Leave a comment:

Whatever. You obviously are seeing only what you want to see. All of the teams cheat or have cheated over the years.
Even Bill Parcells said that when he was coaching for the Giants, they used to open the stadium doors when opponents were kicking, so that the extra wind might affect the kick in their favor.
I'm 110% sure that Don Shula has played a few tricks in his lifetime, too. Welcome to the real world.
