i totally agree as far as the fins go.....but its almost as if they hired the new guy to be Big tuna's puppet. Like Tuna will be coaching from the office.

I have no idea what the fins coach will do. I dont see why Cameron was fired. Its not like the Dolphins failure was totally his fault. They sucked before, and there were a lot of injuries. I think firing one coordinator for another is kinda stupid. They shoulda went after a head coach whos done it before, to get some stability in the locker room. Now its going to be up to them, and the draft. And hope they dont draft someone like Ted Ginn Jr. #1 overall lol.

You misunderstood the end of my post, I was saying that I DO believe the Pats are probably the best team ever...

I still think that Belichick was trying to cheat but I don't think it affected anything this season except to make him and the team angry.

Which is sad. And the case is same with Bonds. He was already a top 10 player of all time before the steroids.

on another note, Baltimore hired John Harbaugh away from us today. I think thats a really bad hire. He was a great special teams coach. He was only promoted to secondary coach this year. This year our secondary struggled, with the same stars we had last year. I dont see this lasting more than the typical three seasons, and baltimore being on their way for another head coach.

Fine, using video to steal signals is against the rules. It would be pertty tough to make it illegal to look at the people doing the signaling but on the flip side it seems liek it would be pretty tough to steal signals without a camera. What do they do make sketches like they're in a courtroom?

At any rate taping the sidelines is against the rules for a reason, just admit that Belichick was cheating. I'll still admit that the Pats are probably the best team ever.

here is where you hatred, or your general attitude has failed you. I never said there wasnt a difference. I never even said the two ways of cheating are on the same level. If you can find that show me. If not you are wasting your time/energy etc on "showing me"

The thing is it was belichick that was fined for the taping, nfl never stated that any players were involved. If i missed that show me that also.

My point was that if you agree both are wrong, why dont i really see you carrying on about merrmian what so ever. And if you are so adamant about cheaters....then shouldnt you?

Does anyone even realize that videotaping IS allowed in the nfl?

Its not stupid because you dont agree with me. I think the punishment was fitting, I dont think he should have been banned. But he was already warned for taping these games last year. If he wasnt able to use them, and wasnt gaining an advantage, he wouldnt do it. Also, to clarify this, Im not a Merriman fan. But you cant route against the Chargers entire team because of one cheater. You can however route against the entire Patriots team for them having an advantage, as a whole, over their opponent.

Both are cheating. Both are wrong. But there are different degrees of cheating. The Patriots cheating effort was more advantageous than just one player on the Chargers cheating.... And like stated before, the Patriots also have a roid user in Harrison on their team.

If you cant sort out the difference here, I dont know what else to say. It speaks for your ignorance.

He got off easy. My personal view is he should have been banned from the sport. He was even warned not to do what he did.
The NFL doesn't just hand out .5 million dollar fines.
No one will even know just how bad he cheated, the NFL is great at sweeping this stuff under the rug. But the fine speaks for itself.
I suspect the only reason he wasn't booted from the league is the NFL didn't want more of a mess on its hands.

One player doesnt make as big of a difference as a whole team of players with an advantage.
He was fined for illegally taping, the nfl didnt state he was able to use the tape. Show me where that was officially stated.Furthermore the coach was fined, and the organization. NOT the indivudual players. Unlike merriman did for his use of steriods.

Its stupid cause i dont agree with you
