I was up early before school playing Day of Defeat (when it was still fun) when someone typed "whoa turn on the news, it looks like a bomb exploded at the world trade center... looked like it took out about 10 stories"... Went to school that day. I was kind of pissed how some teachers taught class almost like nothing had happened. Other teachers just had the TV on and let us watch the news for the entire class.

I was a sophmore in college and was getting ready to leave for my calculus class when I turned on the tv and saw that one of the buildings had collapsed with the other one on fire. I honestly thought it was a trailer for a new action movie or something, it just didn't seem real. Then the 2nd tower fell and I realized that this was real I was watching this live. The footage of the planes hitting and the towers collapsing still seems so surreal.
