Yeah, I know all the stuff like that was a failure (ignorant writers/producers) but the important things like story structure, character objective, writer objective, and story objective are much tighter and more believable. Like I said, I study screenwriting, so that's how I look at movies.

Cop wants to be ricer, cop befriends ricer, cop betrays ricer, cop and ricer have steamy sex behind stage.

Thats all that happened. 80% of the movie was flashy ass shit races.

You can study the screen writing all you want, but it comes down to what people think of the movie no matter how you slice it. I saw 0 plot and I kept wondering to myself when the fuck something was gonna happen.

Not to knock what you do, but I didn't think it had any plot what so ever. Let alone any structure or development. I rate this movie 1/2 a notch above wicker man. And I would rather drink a bottle of concentrated dish soap and bend over and shit bubbles on my face and in my eyes than ever watch wickerman again.

aXXo puts up the best rips months before a movie will come out. I got 300 from him 2 months before it came out and I DL'd Spiderman 3 from him a few weeks back.

Ripped movies + Laptop and S Video cable + 50' projection = SWEEEET.

I'm 12 min into this movie and its pretty absurd. They race for a girl.... ok whatever, thats really cheesy but I can go with that. Then the kid in the viper starts side swiping the other kid.. and nows hes not even in trouble because hes rich? Oh come on, like that would ever happen.... its on fucking tape. Now the kid in the old POS is going to get tried as an adult... for what? reckless driving?? wtf is the worst that could happen, like a week in jail and loss of a license. Hardly that bad.... Maybe felony destruction of property for going through a house, but still... I doubt even that would happen.

Not to be argumentative, but... Plot is a series of conflicts of which there are many in this film. And this is for my benefit too in trying to break down a film, so:
Conflict: Three cars hijack a truck.
Conflict: Meet Bryan. He sucks at driving. Scene --> Spins out, "SHIT!"
Conflict: He to be having trouble making friends in the street racing world --> scene at Torettos diner, Watch yo back!.
Conflict: Risks it all in a street race in order to get close to Toretto. Scenes --> Two tanks, big ones, of NAWWZZZZ, taunting at race gathering, pink slip, fried piston rings...
Conflict: His car gets blowed up by some snooty azn's.
Conflict: So, he in. He has Toretto's friendship, but not the others. Scene --> rescues Toretto from cops, Coronas, did he wipe the seat?, still owes him a ten second car...
Conflict: He likes Toretto's sister.
Conflict: He is actually an undercover cop forced into the world of street racing in order to solve a crime. Time is running out. Scene --> "arrested"
Conflict: Starts to admire Toretto and his team, doesn't think they're the culprits, loves Toretto's sister.
Conflict: Suspects that mexican guy. Almost loses his cover. Scene --> snooping around the mexican's.
Conflict: Now we suspect the azn's. Scene --> snooping around the azn garage with Toretto.
Conflict: His authorities are angry that he isn't solving the case. The azn lead took them nowhere.
Conflict: He finally must realize that Toretto is hiding something, puts his relationship with Toretto's sister on the line. Terotto's response is vague, but we can guess... Scene --> "More than you can afford pale. Ferrari." Then eating shrimp.
Conflict: Mr. MIT loses his Jetta at race wars to the snooty azn, runs for it. Scene --> "Go fetch your car?" "I NEVER NARKED ON NOBODY!"
Conflict: He overhears Toretto leaving on another "mission." So, now he knows, and he can save Toretto from being caught, but Toretto's sister is reluctant to help. Scene --> "Trucks? What trucks?"
Conflict: Toretto and his team are now one guy short. Scene --> Getting the Honda's ready.
Conflict: Toretto and his team struggle hijacking the semi because the semi driver has a shotgun - the one we hate winds up in mortal peril. Bryan saves him, but in order to do so must reveal that he is a cop. Loses Toretto's sister. Toretto is furious to discover he was being spied on all this time.
Conflict: Bryan must stop Toretto from leaving the country. Toretto needs to find Mr. MIT before the azn's do. Azn's kill Mr. MIT. Now we chase the azn's.
Conflict: The azn's are taken care of, but now what about Toretto? Fortunately, it's exactly a quarter mile to those train tracks. Survive being run over by train and a barrel roll. Sirens in the distance. What do we do about Toretto? Fortunately for him, Bryan still owes him a ten second car.
