Dude, what the hell is going on? Seriously what did I do that violated
the rules of this site? Is this some sort of random vendetta or did I
actually break some rule somewhere without knowing it?
Our moderators were tired of deleting your posts. You haven't posted
anything productive in months.

Chris, I think you have me confused with someone else, I haven't posted ANYTHING in months. The last thread I started was the one in the M20 section about running motors to 7000 rpm and above which went out to 11 pages of constructive discussion on the merits of a high-rpm M20.
Previous to that I had an issue with Magicandmischief182 harassing me via myspace and attempted to get in touch with him via your site, only to find he had been banned. I apologized for my posts regarding that matter and moved on.
A quick review of my last 25 posts (which takes you back to August) reveals nothing unconstructive, simply questions regarding motor swaps, turbo m20 engines and various questions on for sale items. If your forum is not to learn more about this car that we all drive then what is it for? I am a BMW tech and use these forums as tools for my work and a place to share what I have learned along the way with those who know less than I. If that is not what your trying to encourage than I suppose I understand your reasoning for banning me.
This was my last participation on the tech and it was a constructive thread that is still active. For this I get banned? I will continue to hound Chris with emails, not because I miss the site but because I fucking feel like it.
"Detour54" is his AIM name, he gets super pissed when you spam it.
It's come to my attention that Chris has been reading this thread on a regular basis so because he won't respond to my emails I'm posting my response here:
Your point? I just described my posting habits truthfully. Budget Beater has given a lot of r3vlimited members a very hard time but I have never had an issue with him. Despite the fact that he has caused trouble amongst personal friends of mine and I feel the need to stick up for them he has never given me a reason to interact with him in anything other than a civil and educated manner.
As for not missing the site, would I not be contacting you in the first place if I didn't? I told you, your site is a valuable tool that I use often. Just because I don't post there regularly does not me that I don't read posts by other members. How often does someone ask a question on one of these forums only to attacked by more established members telling them to stop posting and search? Are you trying encourage more people to post without reason or are you simply trying to justify your actions?
If you really do not want me as part of your site and can give me a FAIR AND REASONABLE ANSWER as to WHY then I will go along on my merry way. I have informed every E30 customer (we have a lot of them) that comes through the doors of my shop about the existence of your site as a great place to learn about their cars and meet other enthusiasts. It would be a shame to see your site turn into another r3v where only the elite insiders are free from ridicule and people get banned simply because the moderators don't like them... I suppose I'll have to start sending my customers elsewhere now.
Thank you for your time,
Brendan

Why would you expect a response when you've said you're going to hound him with emails? This is like you and that magicmischief guy. You are a drama queen.
Because I've gotten responses at this point, just not to my direct emails. I'm not being THAT much of a drama queen, I just want a fucking answer that makes some fucking sense. I've sent a lot of my customers to that site...
