yeah, adblock and filterset.g are pretty much exclusively aimed at banner ads and other in-page content (because as you mention, firefox is already pretty good at handling pop-ups).

I installed it - zero difference. Even going to torrent sites. Only been a day, but can't tell a difference in ads.

But the difference between a out dated version of IE and firefox is HUGE....

Get firefox or update your stuff.....
