They are hatch backs. Not very nice looking at all. The STI will only be available in a hatch I am told.

i have to agree, the hatchback isint the bad part though. the new car is just soo terribly bland:zzz: dosent look much diffrent from a camry and that is saying alot

They had one at the local autocross two weeks ago on display. It wasnt all that appealing to me but it does look a bit better in person than in pictures. I will give it that. The guy from the dealer also said that they WRX version of it will be out in a few months and should be a bit more sporty looking.

I really dislike how the rear fender curves down in front of the rear wheel...but I can't decide if I like it or the 04-05 models better. I think I'd rather rock the wagon.

I'll admit it isn't the most beautiful car in the world, but it grows on you. I'd drive the ugliest, rusted out, multi-colored, faded paint, bolts falling out POS on wheels if it were fast and fun though, which my car is. Plus everything works which is more than I can say about my E30.

For those who don't know, they went to a hatch because WRC regulations changed and now only hatch's are allowed. At least, that is what I heard.
