Holy fuck is it hard to find an ass end shot of this SUV
But seriously, is Subaru now taking styling cues from GM?

I'm just happy with the car as it was two generations ago.

I don't like the hatch either, or the front grille. The good news is just wait two years and the exterior will be redesigned again. It seems that Subaru doesn't have much of a design direction. I bought an '07 Impreza a few months ago (didn't like the looks of the new generation), not so much for performance (but it's not bad), but for AWD.Comment

GM owned 33% of Fuji Heavy Industries up until 6 months ago when the sold off Saab and Subaru stuff since they said they were losing money.
So there will be no more Saaburu's either.Comment

Oh please all of those have been used on a number of SUV's and hatchbacks these days, look at the Lexus RX, the Toyota Matrix, or the Mazda 3. Good luck finding an import SUV that DOESN'T have a stubby antennaon top. The lines and shapes on the back of theose two cars are quite different, it's really a stretch to say that they're stealing styling cues. You might as well say they're stealing Ferarri's designs because they both have door handles.

You got me there, I lol'd a little bit in my mouth. I dunno, I just saw the rear end and immediately thought of that Acadia piece of shit. I'm sure the design will grow on me in time, similar to the new 3 and 5 series. I thought they looked terrible at first, but after a while I warmed up to them. I've always been a fan of the WRX so I'll be interested to see where the aftermarket department goes with this car.

Survey Says:
Front end still looks like shit. The back half of the car looks mean, once you get past the drivers door it's all downhill. Subaru has been cranking out some ugly ass designs ever since that Alfa Romeo fool started working there. He should stick to making Alfas look like crap and leave the Subies alone.
