    I know the s14 e30 M3 is a different ballgame. I was gathering information regarding the mercedes 190 2.3 16v.

the 16v is an awesome engine, I just do not like the 190 body.

I had a 300e that I loved, super super tank like solid, but the L6 was weak (until I cammed it)

The 16v is EXPENSIVE to work on, and it will require work. there are also not a million techs that even have tools to do the head work, and even less that car capable.

Mercedes are twice as expensive to wrok on than a BMW. Little things are expensive as well as super expensive big thngs.

If you have the money and good MB mech that can work on it then get it.

          If not, buy a 1995 e420.

My buddy is all into 190s. He has driven a 16v (owns one that will be on the road soon). He says they are fun, but its no e30 m3. In a contest of anything he admits the m3 just pwns the 190.

take that wing off and it would loook super sweet. nice pics....that 2nd pic of the tanish grey one is that same color car i saw. i think its a good looking car and a good example of mercedes benz inginuity. i was actually driving my brothers ford focus (that he has a roush stage 2 turbo on a stock engine with exhaust and bigger injectors and some igniotion shit and stock suspension ( i feel so rice riding in it cause its silver with blacked out wheels and tails and a bright red painted plastic interior )) it is however pretty quick and odd that it hasnt blown up yet on ten pounds of boost so i took off in first against him and then he just ripped by me muaha...

that wing surely has a purpose though...must provide some good downforce and high speeds

Depends on the nature of the motor work...

I would plan on installing a new motor. I wouldn't offer more than 2000 for the car, and that would be generous.
