      what state is was the accident? Not sure if the state laws where the contract was drawn or the state of the accident apply. Oregon is a no-fault state. Your own company pays, and they can sue each other if they wish.

      here's the deal -- most states and rental companies wont let anyone under 25, let alone 21 be a driver. Any adult that allows a teenager without insurance drive a rental in their name deserves whats coming to them.

        it doesn't matter what state he's in, contract law is pretty much all the same - he violated the contract, so he's responsible.
