    New Radiohead Album.

Well it's out today. For those of you who don't know, you get to choose how much you pay for the album. For those of you who already knew this, did you pay?

I personally think it's a brilliant idea, at the end of the day, anyone who pays at least 1£ for the album is giving the artist more money per Album than they would typically see in a standard record deal. Hats off to radiohead for a brilliant idea in my book.

"THE ALBUM WILL COME AS A 48.4MB ZIP FILE CONTAINING 10 X 160KBPS DRM FREE MP3s."

I was wondering whether the surge of fans would swamp their servers and slow up the download process this morning. To my delight, everything went smooth.

I think it's pretty good so far, I just finished listening to it the first time through at work. I wouldn't say it's Thom's greatest, I definitely like his solo work more than this album, but it's still radiohead.

Awesome concept, I must say. But 160kbps MP3's? I would want at least 192. I don't download anything in MP3 unless it's 192. Call me a snob, but anything below that doesn't sound as good.

I read that Oasis and Jamiqueer (can't remember how to spell it) are following suite.

I'll probably download Radiohead's cd when I get home. I figured $5 is a good price eh?

Jamiroquai. Amazing musician. I've always been a big fan. I think Virtual Insanity is still one of my favorite songs.

Record labels don't simply distribute CD's. But I see what you are saying.

I heard about this Radiohead album on the FM today and I was intrigued. I'm not huge on Radiohead but I'll download this.

Well, you have to pay in pounds. So you do the conversion on that.

A guy at work got me a copy today. I'm gonna download one and pay just cause Radiohead is the best, but I also figure I will be throwing quite a bit of money on tickets next time they decide to tour.
