I hope you get somewhere with your claim. That's messed up that that happened, and the K-9 handler showed a lack of respect for your property. I've watched the border guys do their thing & they are really good about keeping dog damage to a minimum.

I'm guessing you have some satallite PD thing at your school & the K9 guy knows most kids are just happy if the dog doesn't find their weed, not worrying about dog damage. He needs to be trained in order to keep his dog from damaging others' property.

What was it the dog found that was its' reason to want into your car?

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

Leave the physical proof untill you get some compensation. don't risk just having pictures.

Nothing. I'm picky with who is allowed into my car and I knew ahead of time even a trace amount of pot would get you in trouble. Never any other drugs nor alcohol in the car or anywhere whatsoever. Spray paint, fiberglass resins, and bondo were in the trunk for a good several months. The bondo is still back there. Even my Principal was rather surprised that my car had a positive hit on it.

Exactly. My car is gross with all the mud/pollen/rain residue. An Allstate agent saw the muddy paw prints as proof. I'm going to leave it all there until I get more headway. Sadly a police report on the hour long drug search at my school has not been submitted yet so I'm going to have to wait until Monday.

I just hope the paw print stays there until then...

Get some really good pics of what your car was/is like, in case rain washes any of it away. The people involved in the process need to see the negligence the K9 handler is responsible for before any of it fades away.

Also, as posted - don't do anything to the damage to fix until you know what is going to happen.

Also, just so you know - I wasn't implying anything when I asked what "red flagged" the dog. More just curiousity what a clean car would have in it that triggered that response. Typed words leave a lot to interpetation.

Just one more example of how you pay for law enforcement to fuck you in the ass on a regular basis. Hide your drugs well, kids. ;)

IIRC when i was in HS (almost 10years ago). The drug dogs at my school had socks on their feet to keep from scraching the cars.

                Pics:

                1)

2)This one here is the worst of all the places -- it took off paint under the door handle and scratched the whole damn area up

                3)

                4)

5)Someone's attempt at seeing if the dog scratched it or not -- it obviously did

                  Damn.

I thought dogs were trained to only go apeshit when they found something though?

Could these dogs have been trained incorrectly?
