    Good PC gaming controller?

So I just finally got GTR2 for my computer this weekend, but haven't had a chance to play it yet, as I'm told it's IMPOSSIBLE to play with a keyboard, and I don't want to try. I'm not going to throw down on a whole wheel/pedal setup, since this is going to be played on my laptop. What I'm looking for is a good PC gaming controller, something similar to a PS2 controller, if possible. I've looked at a few Logitech ones, but haven't looked to hard. Is it possible to maybe find some kind of USB adapter to actually use a PS2 controller? I really need something with pressure sensitive buttons for the throttle.

Does the pressure sensitivity on the buttons work?

yeh, that's the Analog mode they're talking about.

just make sure you get one that's PS2-compatible (not just PSX) and you'll get that feature; they all use the same chipset.

Right on. That's pretty cheap, too. Thanks, dk.

You're definately going to want the xbox 360 controller.

Yeah why not get an xbox one? You could buy the real pc one, or goto a pawn shop and get any wired xbox controller and wire it in.

                Edit:

FWIW, I was a wally world a few days back and I noticed they had the same product you linked.

The only difference between the PC one and the wired one is a little adapter.

i like the psx/ps2 controller better than the xbox/360 ones, but to each his own.

I was looking for pressure sensitivity in a PC controller, nice!

I don't know of any PC controllers that have that anyways. Just bought one now.

So who wants my Logitech one with no pressure sensitive buttons?

I don't know too much about the game controller side of things, but I just said fuck it and spent all my money ($260) on the Logitech G25 wheel/pedal/shifter set up. Its worth it considering it feels like i'm really thrashing a car around. It's a bit pricey but I don't have to worry about breaking shit on my car;)

Wheel or bust. I can use controllers no problem, but wheels are so much better. BTW, Forza 2 = drifting. TVR Sagaris, all assists off except ABS, and go balls out.
