The S85 DME and harness won't work without the rest of the car there. Hell, we can't even update the software in the DME without updating the rest of the car. I'd be very impressed if Motec has engine management available to the public that is on the same level as the factory stuff. -
I'm sure to this guy, or whomever is bankrolling this thing, MoTeC is cheap. :mrgreen:Leave a comment:

Wow. Didn't think I'd see a project like this for at least a few years. Wonder how the hell he's planning on running that motor.Leave a comment:

Because they have the resources to do them before you get around to itman, why is it that i come up with all these ideas, i have too many to count, and too many ideas on how to make them work. then SOMEBODY has to go do them.

No wonder the five lug setup he was selling was so cheap...this guy must bleed benjamins like it's his job.Leave a comment:

Very cool, but I would've liked to have seen the ol' semi-trailing arms try to cope with the S85. Would have been a snap-oversteering death trap for sure, but a fun one! Kinda takes the E30ness out of the car.Leave a comment:

One of my goals was to put either an s85 or N54 with e90 suspension in an e30. i would also integrate the features of the newer cars into the interior aswell - idrive blah blah blah....
that will be an amazing piece of work when done, and it looks like its all being done with no expense spared.(something I lack at the moment)

Damn. That was the guy selling the whole E30 M3 suspension for $1,200 a few weeks back. Can't wait to see where that project goes.Leave a comment:
