Yeah, that's why I bought the Windsor. Not much money and I wanted a bike asap.

back to bikes, sorry for the hijack...

windsor is treating me very well. so is the 1920. i have an offer to buy it. the guy is a restoration guru, i have seen his other bikes and they are amazing.

enough for a really sick new name brand bike. or enough to pay off a bunch of bills. a couple windsors anyway.

i hear ya. I need to do some more research and come up with some money.

The whole thing with fixed for me is so i have something to do when im living at school (urban area) cause theres no woods around here and i dont like driving too far to ride.

Im not totally sure im gonna dig it so im kinda leaning towards the kilo cause its nice n cheap. If i get into it ill build a bike.

Itd be kinda cool to build a bike in my dorm room hahaha...

I might be able to get a Fuji cheap (read: dealer cost). So thats another option.

I finally got a new fork... my other one was considerably bent. The difference is night and day. It is nowhere near as twitchy as it used to be and it brought the front wheel in a bit which I am pleased with. It's slowly getting there! I have to ride brakeless because the brake won't fit on the fork, I'd need to run 700c wheels. It's so fucking smooth now. This is the only pic I have right meaw:

hm. No carbon seatpost, stem, bars, crank, and saddle? lame.

I need some of your guys expert advice. I'm lookin to buy a bike to go to and from school

My budget is tight. I don't need anything fancy just a reliable DD, while searching CL i found this.

Good Buy? I like the vintage look and the option of eventually fixing it up to a fixie

                              Or this? Not as cool?

Eh. I'd buy the fifty dollar one if I had to choose.

New fixed gear movie world premiere today in Vegas. check out some of the videos there, it's all shot in HD, good editing and soundtrack.
