scabbz- thanks for the heads up. Anything is better than what I had though.... I had a steel rim up front that was popping any tube I threw up there and the back one was really wide.

I'm going to, I just wanted to get it installed. My friend fucked up his fork, and I told him he could have my stock one.
I think I'm going to make it 2-tone. I'm going to do the outside of it the same color as my frame, and then make the inside red, to go with the rest of my red parts.Comment

I gots a new seat, Swobo Shopping Cart, for $30 at the LBS. They took if off of a Sanchez because the guy that bought it got a different seat for it.
Now I just need a CF seatpost, and that section will be done.

Picked up some parts. Got some super vintage Benotto bar tape, ditched the schwinn crankset and threw on a set of Sugino XD's off my mountain bike (which are way too long) and a new brake lever.
So how many of you can say your bikes have a parking brake?

Fixed. Those are the stock wheels though so no lock ring therefore i need a brake. Idk if id be comfortable right now with out one anyway. Im not strong enough resisting to stop fast if i needed to.-ChrisComment

Do you have room on the spindle still for a lock ring? You really should get one, they're really cheap. If you go and try to pedal really hard or stop hard by resisting, you can slip the cog.
I really, really want this wheelset. There's only 20 hours left on it, and I'm keeping an eye on it. If it stays relatively low, I might just dive on them.
