Just started riding my bike into work - I have a whopping 2 mile commute. I should have been riding sooner, but well - I'm lazy. I swapped the aggressive knobby tires for the Michelin City tires and they really make road riding much nicer.

It makes a big difference in the morning. Just getting my blood flowing makes getting into the swing of work much easier.

Today is a week since I dropped my Mavics off to be built. That fucking part for my wheels had better show up today, or I'm going to start firebombing.

Yeah... same thing happened to me. Order some parts (tires, aero bars, bull horns, seat, brakes) from Nashbar on the 6th. A week went by and nothing; called them up and asked about my order status; said pending should be out. Called them again, they can't find the order and is now moved to accounting supervisor; but guess what they can't give me a time-line as to how long it will take them to process the order and get it out to me... Now I am waiting again and if nothing happens by Friday; I'm going to be extremely pissed!

Then I found out that recently Nashbar CC auth. services were hacked (among other business)...... GREAT!

(Now I remember why I started my own business...)

The only thing I have ever ordered from Nashbar is their TT bullhorns, because they are the same profile and specs as Profile Design Airwings, and half the price.

I will have my new wheels this evening. LBS just finally got the fucking part in from Mavic, after a week, and after I went in there today to ask if they'd gotten it yet.

"Oh here it is, UPS must have just dropped it off..."

Plus my 15T A/C racing freewheel is just waiting to be installed.....I ordered the tool from nashbar as well :(

Very, VERY little. I should have had them weigh them while I was picking them up.

The front with the tire weighs less than the stock wheel that came on the bike WITHOUT a tire.

I meant it with love, my connection went down before I got to edit it and say as such. I honestly think it's the nicest Hour I've ever seen.

It's ok though because he replaced EVERYTHING on it that makes in an Hour... You pretty much have a generic track frame with kick ass components now. Looks veddy nice!
