^ Encino CA. They are next door to one another. Then there are a bunch more down the street. It's outdoor, but you can ride ALL year.

this is what i did today: one of my roommates had an old homegrown laying around the basement in non-running condition, so i asked him what he wanted for it & he just gave it to me. w00t!
these frames were made by yeti for schwinn back in the day before pacific (think wal-mart) bought schwinn out. it's a classic, durable, desirable (for those who know whats up) hard-tail. today i installed my wtb dual dutys, 2.35 &2.1 kenda nevegals, tubes, rim strips, and brake rotors. i'm gonna take it in to work, clean it real well, install a new chain & some avid bb7's i've got laying around, tune it up, and give it a good thrashing on some local trails. i'm stoked. i also have a full squish bike in the works.

the fixie got a rear flat from a pothole fixed & a new rear tire. blue is for ballin'

and the cruiser project got a friction driven ikj (dutch) made speedo

          that is all.

Nice ride, that saddle is a ball buster though.

Speaking of saddles, mine has been killing me as of late. Specialized road comp. Not bad for short rides around town, but it sucks if you're on the bike for more than 45 min. Anyone have some suggestions for a new saddle? I prefer something modern looking to flow with the bike, and for it to be reasonably priced.

I have a set of older wheels kicking about that I was debating using.

I just did my first night right with the Light and Motion Stella 200. Great light. I just need to learn to look further ahead of me on the trails. Also broke my derailleur hanger coming down a fun flowy line. I was :(

Origin8 is garbage and why would you do that anyways?

In regards to his wheel choice, Thats a fine upgrade for that style bike. Of course, Ambrosia on low flange Record hubs would be more stock looking, but if you've never ridden Ventos/Shamals, it wont make sense. :)
