And I do need to get some wheels, but those are later. These are fine for now.

And scabzzz, flip that stem over!
Help me understand why I need to flip my stem over?

And my ass is chafed from riding so much yesterday on the stock seat. Fock. And I got Ritchey headset too. We got the same run of bikes. Same time. Same shipment I'm sure.

source, is that one of those ebay cheapies? (not sure if bens cycles is a shop or ebay vendor).

my buddy bought one last week and his crank stripped after 3 miles. he had to drop a buck and a half on a sugino crank & arms

^ Ben's cycle is a shop, but they do post stuff on ebay as well:

They're a good merchant I like them, good prices too.

What did your buddy buy last week? My bike isnt an ebay build, I started with the pake frame.

          Frame Fork: Pake
          Crankset: Sugino Messenger 46T 165mm
          BB: Sugino 68x103mm
          Headset: Cane Creek S2
          Stem: Cinelli Alter
          Saddle: Brooks b17
          tasty

This is how I do it. I unclip my left foot at the bottom of it's stroke, and then let the cranks raise my right foot. As my right foot is coming up, I let the force of the crank lift me up and off the seat, while going off the bike backwards and letting the seat go between my legs. Then I step down with the unclipped left foot, pull my right foot out as I come off the bike, and catch it by the seat as it goes through.

scabzzz, relax yo. I just think it looks better.

Its really not that bad at all. Kind of makes you look up ahead and think a little more than 'on-demand-shifting'. I converted my MASI from 8sp ergo to 10 sp Downtube. :D

I'm not freakin out, just asking. Like curious.

Now that I look at it, I think I have it backwards anyways though its the same really. To take the handlebar off, its 4 screws for me right now. If I flipped it, it would only be 2 screws. Plus I'm sure it would grip the fork better anyways with 4 instead of 2.
I'll change it.. Thanks for making me look at it. Never had a threadless headset before this bike.

Thanks for asking man. It's going really well. Since I got my bike I've been riding so much. We did 15 miles Wednesday night through Downtown St. Pete out to Treasure Island. Really fun ride with a nice group of people. Other than that I'm just trying to keep active and keep going.
