I love riding trails. It's just that there aren't that many around here. I live on a small island on the Gulf Coast, there's not much in telemetry here.

Thanks for the tips on the Windsor bike, guys. Good info, now I know some of the stuff I'll want to upgrade.

It's my first fixed/road bike, I didn't really want to go crazy on a super expensive one.

Well I don't see it as that way at all. It's more like, versatility.

+1. I don't mind putting a little money into it...it's a pretty nice frame for the money.

I have had good luck with the SHimano UN-52 or UN-71 bottom brackets. Although I am a bit of a Campagnolo nerd, the 52/71 BB's are bombproof for the most part...but not light by any means. Just make sure the tapers on the crank arms match the shimano taper, and it should be good.

Personally, I'm not a fan of mountain biking...enough that I had my Stumpjumper shipped over to Portugal so I have somehting to ride when I'm there.

For me, in the woods, it has to be on a cyclocross bike...it is just FUN!! :)

A friend of mine that just got a Windsor Hour got his today, and he said it does have rim tape on the rims, so they must have taken care of that.

Mine doesn't come until Monday, grrrrrrr.

Every rim strim should be Velox. :)

Yeah, Velox makes a good rim strip. But if you want to go r3v-style you can use 3M fiberglass reinforced tape.
