DIY - Mtech 1 Fixed Gear

Otay, so, here goes.

Step One

Remove Factory Control Unit

Step Two

Find Input shaft

Step Three

Disassemble for mounting

Step Four

Verify locking tab

Step Five

Check for proper interface

Step Six

Remove Roundel

Step Seven

Use proper tools

Step Eight...

Back to normal, but, I can swap back to the tech1 if I so desire.

Now put a Getrag 260 in it to make it a proper bike again :D

Ditch the kickstand and the spoke reflectors.

Uhhh, how do I take out the reflectors? I'm pretty sure I can figure the kickstand out.

There should be a little plastic locknut, or you have to twist them out, then slide them down towards the hub where the spokes are wider apart.

i'm thinking of picking this bike up and converting it to a cheap fixed for my brother.



he wants at least a front brake and its a 56cm which should fit him albeit a bit small
