I really really like that green bike at the bottom of your last posts. Just looks like a nice cruiser for around campus or city.

I love that I live in Seattle and was thinking how perfect that bike was seattle. Click the name... and it's named seattle! sweet.

That's not exactly cheap though... I mean it's not a bad deal but my budget is significantly less. Those are the first rain guards I've seen that aren't hideous though.

          Thats funny
I think it fits the name well.

I think its a great price considering what the parts cost for my road bike, and road bikes in general.

I personally am not a fan of the rain guards but they are ok guess.

that was the first thing i removed thou.

Yeah. I hate rain guards too... but in SEATTLE they would come in really handy. Sometimes I just get rain and dirt all over my back. (mtn bike) Everyone I see on campus looks stupid these are the first acceptable ones that I've seen.

It's not a bad deal, I'm just hoping to build a SS for a bit less... still looks like a cool bike.

its cool at least that the actual Seattle bike was actually built to suit to the city of Seattle.

Early 90s Cannondale CAD-3. Rolf paired spoke wheels with high flange hubs. Campy shifters, brakes, deraileurs, cassette, etc.. Some of it is used, some not. Its my first serious road bike. Yay..

As far as my DA hub, I've got a Sugino push on cog set installed on it. The lockring that came with it was pretty crappy to be honest, felt cheap and plastic like but it was aluminum or some shit.

It didnt have enough bite on it and Im pretty abusive on hubs because of how hilly it is here and my skidding style. I put a Surly lockring on last night because it had a lot of threads and was nice quality. Seems to be ok so far. Lockring threads are on its last leg though.

After learning I have a great MTB trail 1/2 mile away from my house I went to the store and looked at some bikes.

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the Marin Hawk Hill bike..the newest one
Police and First Responder bicycle and duty gear store. Everything needed for effective Bike Patrol. Large selection of bikes, lights, bags, and uniforms.

They have it on sale for 800.00 here and wondering if I should get it.

Marin's are usually sold at REI.

Hey guys, I know this isn't a FS thread, but I have a hollywood bike rack, if you can come get it, its yours for 10 bux.

More or less this one, used it 5-10 times, still in perfect shape.
Hollywood Racks F1B Original 3 Bike Trunk Rack. The virtually indestructible F1B original trunk rack is the original fully pre-assembled and foldable trunk rack.
