Here's a picture of my first roadbike build (actually, my first real roadbike to speak of)
    It's an 62 cm 84 Trek 460 that I had powdercoated
I've pieced together a bunch of Ultegra 6500/6600 parts and it's mostly assembled now. I'm probably going to take it to a bike shop for some of the final stuff because I've never tuned a bike before.
I've got some friends that train on bikes and I'm really excited to join them.

      Yeah, good luck with that....

custom powdercoat and carbon fork or not, its still a BD windsor frame. 300 is more than you can buy the complete bike for Josh.

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I've seen stripped and powdercoated road bike framesets that don't even have track ends advertised on Craigslist as "fixed gear frame" around here go for $200, without a BB or cranks.

$300 is not more than you can buy the complete bike for, that's what I paid. I bet I can probably get at least $200 for the set on CL locally. It's got a damn good powdercoat job, a good bottom bracket, a good fork, and it's still a decent frame. Just because it came with a bunch of shit components on it doesn't mean it's not a perfectly good frame. I ran that thing hard while I had it, and it rode just fine.

Besides, it doesn't say Windsor on it anymore. Now it could be a Fuji Track, and no one would ever know. :D

Hilarious that I went to go on the bike forum I'm a member and knew my car forum would have the answer to why the bike forum didn't work.

Regardless, beat no one knew, great that were back.

Thanks again tothe people who make f1x3d or what ever it's called a possibility. I've learned a lot on there and I'm sure others have too. It's always fun to read lee and davids conversations haha. Aka keep it up or well all rape whoever took it down.

With all the stuff on it, I think 300 is fair for a local deal. Its not a smokin good deal by any means, but I think 300 bucks shipped would be nice too if you sold it online. Ebay would probably get you around 250 maybe a little less.

I saw so many fucking fixies in boston it made me sick. most were conversions... I saw a sweet pink remington w/ a b45 in the back and a hed 3 up front. the guy looked like a poseur though.

He probably was a poseur. A $700 front wheel is exactly what is wrong with fixie riders today.

3/4ths of the Fixie riders I see out here near my college in Fullerton are waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles posers who dress like Pharrel.

Living in Portland and Eugene, I'd say well over 3/4ths

I want a 700 dollar wheel for my fixie..
It'll match my 700 dollar drivetrain.

I listed this in the random crap FS thread, but I don't know how much people check that so here it is again.

This is a bike my buddy has been building for a little over a year now. It has been ridden approximately once on the street. It has never seen the trails. It is quite literally brand new other than the pedals. I am listing it here since I know there are some riders that would appreciate a trail killer like this. I can get more pics for seriously interested parties.
