Parted with my bike yesterday. I didn't really want to sell it, but at the same time, there was no point in me keeping it right now. I have no time to ride it, I can't ride it to work, and all the people I used to ride with don't ride anymore. I needed the money right now more than I needed it sitting in my garage looking pretty. But I got a good price for it, and got some bills paid. I'm going to get another bike soon, whether it will be another track bike or not, not sure. But I've definitely got the bike-bug again.

Hey whats a nice brake lever? A friend scared the shit out of me this weekend. One of his buddies got hit by a truck and died riding brakeless track bike in boston recently. Not that he wouldnt have gotten creamed on a normal road bike (who knows) but i guess its peace of mind...
