^Nearly bought a bottle of their dunkelweissen the other day, but other things caught my eye.

Bought these for some joyous sipping over spring break this upcoming week. Tried the imperial stout; a little much for my taste buds. Anyways.. I like pictures.

My favorite just happens to be local. I'd like to say that doesn't factor into my taste for it because I really do think it's my best tasting beer. But I guess I do get some sense of pride in knowing that it's brewed right down the road.

Really digging Lagunitas little sumpin sumpin ale right now. Ballast point sculpin ipa was a top notcher but expensive at $10/22oz. Hoping to sip on DFH 75min ipa soon.

What's R3V been sipping on lately?

In my opinion, please skip the DFH 75 Minute in a 750 ml. It loses a huge amount over the cask offering, and it's slowly degraded in flavor over the past few years. Where the cask is nuanced, the bottle is solidly mediocre.

Since you're named after a doppelbock, have you ever had Augustiner's Maximator? My fave of the Munich Doppels.

I've not had Augustiner Maximator. For Munich doppelbocks, I've only had Salvator, Optimator, and Celebrator. Celebrator is by far my favorite doppelbock, bottle or on-tap.

Who makes Celebrator? I'll have to try it. I've had Opti/Maxi/Salv/Triumph, but there's always more to try.
