Like already mentioned, the blade edge could use being a lighter shade, just enough to show the whole knife's purpose is the blade.

I personally like the color tint of the whole blade, as you said if it was brighter it would detract from the rest of the shot.

All this pic needs is a minor cleanup in photoshop though, not a full reshoot.

Besides, could you get just a edge to illuminate without the whole blade?

VERY nice work - either you got a gift, or you burn a lot of batteries on flash.

yeah i could of just used a light on the side of the knifeyou dont see and i would have a hard edge of the blade. I just did a little re edit, ill post in it ia second.

and There was no flash used at all :p
