      The 959 was pretty complex compared to Tamiya's other cars back then. It had three diffs and a Techni-Tuned motor. I can't remember exactly how it worked, but the engine's power characteristics could be changed.

      The Falcon was OK, but it was no RC10. I replaced the stock shocks with aluminum units, replaced the tires, and added bearings, but it was still kinda meh. I got rid of it after I broke the chassis several times at the track.



      they released a celica body not too long after that....that updated the 959 chassis and it was stronger...and fast as hell!

            Was your rear end stock? I have a novak ss5800 brushless system in my blackfoot with the thorp differential. In a straigt line it can keep up with my 3.3 revo
