Daylight savings fix for Win2000 & NT (download)

I still use 2k on many of my machines because its... free, mainly.

Microsoft left us pre XP users out to dry.
This is an unofficial fix so perform at your own risk.

2K is practically at EOL in terms of support dude. Go to XP. MSFT has a patch for DST for the 2k platforms, but it's a bitch to deploy.

2k is EOL. everything works fine so why waste money?
MS does have a patch, but goo luck getting it or knowing how to run it.
The link i provided on the other hand, is THE fix.
Theres another link i found on how to manipulate the registry yourself but this does it for you.

I was thinking the same thing.

I've got it sitting on a file share at work. Pretty much the same deployment method as the XP patch.

It's more of a pain if you're running in an exchange environment, it causes havoc with the calendars if you've got different systems that are patched & unpatched.

outlook calendar / exchange dst issues and hearing it from 3500+ customers = teh suck.
