    Set the clocks back tonight.

Don't forget to turn back the clocks tonight. And are we (the U.S.A.) the only people that do this?

Seems they do it in Europe too.
Date calculator. Most of the United States begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November. In the U.S., each time zone switches at a different time. In the European Union, Summer Time begins and ends at 1:00 a.m. Universal Time (Greenwich Mean Time). It begins the last Sunday in March and ends the last Sunday in October. In the EU, all time zones change at the same moment.

It used to be the same here in the states - the last weekend of October we'd turn the clocks back an hour - but for some rediculous reason the government has decided to move the day by one week. Not sure why they even bother....just seems pointless to me. There are some states which don't even recognize the time change. Hawaii and Arizona are a couple IIRC.

It works better the further you are away from the equator.

I'd rather just get rid of the time change and keep the extra hour at night.

Why? Daylight savings time saves tons of energy every year.

If this is true, then cool. I gotta say I don't care either way - I doesn't affect my life aside from making amusing stories over why I was late/early to something on Sunday, which has little/no consequenses.

If nothing else it's a way to see who cares what exact day it should happen. I'm clearly not one of those.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
