Watched it last night. I had to re-encode it into DivX so that my stand alone dvd player could play it on plasma :)

Watched it again tonight... I would still take GT3 over R8.... they need to upgrade the R8 with the new engine they are putting into RS6 (576 or so hp).

I prefer the R8 overall, it comes with that uniqueness. Just give it some boost or something.

Question re: this video. I have it loaded but when playing in my Windows MP, I only get audio. What version is recommended/needed? Or is there something else?

you need the vidx codec. You can go to go to doom9.org and get the gordian knot codec pack.

orrrr......

you can just install vlc media player and forget codecs, that plays most everything, even incomplete torrented files.

I'm completely with you on this one, there's just something about the R8 that gives it individuality. As Clarkson said, "you could have a 911 covered in money and it still wouldn't get the attention an R8 draws." That's the thing with Porsches though, you could pull up to a pump in a GT3 and you might get a few oggling car enthusiasts, but the average joe will just think it's another Porsche. You pull up in an R8, and you're gonna have a crowd on your hands.
