Have opps to get a 2003 E55 AMG Benz!!!

My cousing is planning to return his 2003 White E55 late next year from a lease....with option to buy around $ 32,000, only has 36,000 miles

Thinking about it, chance to own a supercar sedan - 469hp/510lbs TQ

Car has extended warranty to 100,000 miles.

    I am so tempted!!!

Do it man! Nice price too. The auto isn't that bad... it's a tip-tronic (or whatever MB refers to it as). It doesn't have 4-matic, but you'll get over it ;)

          Those Es are fucking siiiick!

Might be worth it seeing it has the extended warranty - otherwise I'd stay away from it. MBZs suffered with quality issues for a good chunk of the time they were tied with Chrysler. Since they dissolved that relationship, the new MBZs are getting better again.

The buyout price is very fair considering the miles

Was fortunate enough to drive one a few times. It's an amazing machine. Scary how smooth of a ride it is at just about any speed. One of those cars where you wish a line like "but officer, it FELT like I was doing 45..." would actually work.

I'd say 99% of responders have never drove an E55, it's a fucking monster, the torgue is neck bothering, it's very fast  so what if it's an auto? It's the best DD for city, period. I was thinking of trading my E 4 matic for an E55 but '05 model because it has 7 speed tranny and bunch of other improvements. Since your cousin's car has an extended warranty, I'd say go for it, since you know the history of the car, you will not regret it! Then get RENNTECH LOWERING MODULE

Nice DD for sure, never drove an amg but I drove a Kleeman supercharged 430 the previous generation. my mom has an E class. Nice cars but still not my type. They also don't look as good in white :( other than that good price for something that will outdrag most cars on the road plus be comfortable enough for everyday. They aren't horrible on gas either.

I've driven one as well. The car is fast as a motherfucker, and has tons of techno-gadgets, but as a daily driver I think i'd get a bit bored with it personally.

To be honest I'd rather drive an e39 m5, cushy enough to be a great daily, but can turn into a sports car with a quick downshift and a nice corner.
