i just read about EMW in a book i have... basically after WW2 they tried to be BMW from what i understand and failed hard..... 1948-1953 i believe.....

ill scan the article later tommorow, just wondering if anyone else ever heard of EMW?

eisenach is about 1 hour from my house here- former east germany. My buddy had a red e30, and bought those ebay stickers for his rondels to make them red/white, and a couple old germans told us the story about the red, and how we should immediately remove the red!
