    Any Coin Collectors here?

Anyone here collect coins? Specifically the state quarters and us mint type stuff? I have TONS of this stuff stored, much of it still in UNOPENED mailers direct from the mint.

I do the cheap state quarter book with my nephew & niece. We each have a book - mine & the neph's have a spot for each possible quarter (& some extras - like bi-centenials, etc.) & the niece's is a US map that 1 state quarter goes in each state - she's 5, so she gets basic geography lessons that way without getting too technical for her - she just wants to do the basics.

I just get 3 uncirculated ones from the local coin shop & spend time with the kids.

I do silver rounds myself, just for simplicity.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

aren't a couple of the state quarters worth some money? Wisconsin IIRC was one of them, worth around $400 because of a mistake on the corn husk(had an extra leaf)

            Hmmm....

I know the ohio-p quarter is worth some because during production osha came in and shut them down! By the time they got up and running again it was time for the next quarter!
