im in my 4th year of community college...:( my first 2 years i took business classes along with a bunch of other prereqs. end of the 2nd year getting ready to transfer, i decided i didnt want to..
and i wanted to persue something that i have always been interested in. engineering.
i do feel like the first couple years is hard because you have to go through all the chem/phys/calc classes. but i have always enjoyed the engineering classes.
i will be transfering to WSUvancouver at the end of this year and totally looking forward to it!
i guess i am a typical engineering student tho, asian, good at math:)
yes there are plenty of those geeky guys out there, but for the most part,
engineering students are normal and pretty cool. you just need to be more open and get to know the people around you.
i just finished taking my final for Engineering Statics today and will go out with a few classmates tonight to have a drink. not all engineering students are nerds. just get out there and have some fun. the best part of going to school for ME are the projects that you get to work on. and im really looking forward to working on even bigger projects at a bigger school.
its your choice as to what you want to persue in life, but to me engineering is the most interesting thats why i decided to switch majors. if you are not interested in the subject, maybe its not for you.Comment

Yep- found out in Nov. I find out when I start in Feb. Should be some cool stuff.
And to the OP-
stick with engineering. I know you're an ME, but I found out for one of my classes next semester we go down to the Naval Test Pilot School (Pax River, MD) and fly some of their aircraft (as in, all of us climb aboard one of their larger planes). There's some really cool shit you will have the opportunity to do. Just one more example to add to the growing pile of what you can do in the future.sigpic89 M3Comment
