        "Into The Wild"

A 20-something guy makes plans to spend a winter in the Alaska wilderness to find himself. He finds it. Worth the two hours to watch it...

It reminds me of "Leaving Las Vegas" - another great film.

            Kinky Kong

When king kong rapes the dinosaur and kills it with his enormous dick, it was the most epic moment of my life.

Damn I flipped through cool hand luke and didn't even give it a chance. There wasn't anything on at the time either. Shit. I just watched "The Science of Sleep" and found it pretty amusing. Gael is pretty hilarious in that role. Parallel Synchronized Randomness, lol.

Gael Garcia Bernal was nuts in that movie, totally to what i'm accustomed seeing him play. :D

The only good movie I can remember seeing in theaters is No Country For Old Men. And I don't expect there to be anything worth seeing in theaters for at least another 5-10 years probably..

He started out the film with the dailogue about what it was like to be a lawman when we has young, and when his fathers were lawmen. He mentioned that they didn't carry guns, and back then, didn't need to. It was back in a simpler time, the old country days. But now that he's an old man, the world has changed so much, and it's more than he can keep up with. He realized that, and knew it was time to get out while he still could. Hence, no country for old men.
I think you have this part slightly backwards. Recall when Ed's uncle(old guy in the wheelchair) tells Ed of how the region has always been violent, and accuses Ed of vanity for thinking it is the area that has changed, not Ed himself. While it is indeed 'no country for old men,' it always has been that way and always will. As we get older we don't always get wiser, but as Ed's uncle suggests, we become more vain and look to the past through rose tinted shades and it is us that has decayed most. Reality is a monster that we try to cover up and stop but it lives on..
