We should have a 10 year ban on computer development too.

No but really, for safety equipment to catch up? That is ridiculous. They really go hand in hand here.
          tasty

            W00t!

            F1 follows NASCAR!

Here is a spyshot of the F1 car of the future. Carb engines and bias ply tires.

            Im now E30less.

its true and it makes me sad...

between this, only 1 tire manufacturer, the standard computer developed by microsoft and allowing of customer chasis formula1 is becomming spec one.

next year prodrive will be using mclauren chasis and somebody elses engine and we be developing non or their own stuff. If this catches on there will be 12 teams that all run the same chasis and same engine just like irl but with right hand truns.

only way to redeem the tech aspect of the series is if tons of research and development go into kinetic hybrid drivetrain systems: a technology that, if costs aren't too great, could eventually trickle down into mainstream motoring.

One step closer to a spec series like GP2. It will ruin F1

That kinda just...defeats the purpose of Formula 1 completely, it's stupid.

They need a Formula 0 for completely unrestricted cars.

in theory, its a good way to cut costs, but in practicality its a retarded idea. you will lose some of your fan base because you have just taken out a big chunk of what formula 1 is. its no longer the pinnacle of motorsport, its what was the pinnacle of motorsport used to be. not only that, but damn if one engine is superior to the rest by the time they are all submitted, now you have a 10 year reign of dominance for one team with no way for another team to catch up. oh well, wouldn't be the first dumb move f1 has made.
Perot isn't a Hillary hater, but he's not a fan either, relating the bumper sticker he received that reads: "Monica Lewinsky's Ex-Boyfriend's Wife for President."

F the FIA right in the A. I can't stand what they've done to WRC and looks like this is another step backwards.
