a few months ago when I was back in Chicago, and saw TVs at the gas pumps, I had really realized just how sad the world is getting.

I concur...I was in the grocery store today and they're lining the aisles with TVs!!!!!!!!

Sitting there, doing your business, no magazines to be found anywhere. Flip on the tv and sit there for hours.

What about watching coking shows and cooking along with them?

At our old house we had a TV set up. Was kind of nice to have something on as background noise while cooking/doing dishes.

And besides, I've seen TV's in BATHROOMS. THAT is bad.

My grandparents watch shit in the kitchen, but then again they're always cooking and retired... I guess if I felt adventurous enough to try the shit on one of those cooking shows i'd get one.

Then you have to worry about batteries and such. I hate touch pads too. I kinda wanted to make my kitchen my backup computer too. You know 4 HDs in Raid0. *drool* raid arrays.

I want to put a computer in my kitchen when I get a house. Something for recipes and such so I dont have to bother getting my papers dirty. Spill proof keyboard obviously.

How about a laptop and wireless router. Then you can have a computer anywhere. Even outside, like magic, internetz everywhere.
