DVD Backup on MAC?

Sorry, I would like to backup my dvd's. I found the mac the ripper software, and am trying it now. Just wondering if there was anything else out there.
Right now I just want to download them to an external HD, so I can play them on my computer on trips and such. Just by moving the ones I want onto my desktop. I have a power book 2.4GHz by the way with 160GB HD.
Thanks for any help you may or may not want to give.
And I am running leopard

I like that the videos that make fun of macs are clearly made by those who run pcs....retarded.ctrl+alt+del ftw
But in all seriousness...Mac the Ripper's older software is better than the new. You can also try Handbrake which works well.
