      Sled dogs I would guess. Kind of a big thing in the northern part of my state

        Bingo, cookie for you! Over the last several years my family and I have gotten fairly serious about dogsled racing, although my dad broke his leg recently so we'll have to scale back dramatically this season.

                i dont see how you would ever get a fox as a pet, they are very timid, and nothing more than a giant waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles...even more so than a coyote. Good luck on taming one, let alone catching it w/o a live trap which is illegal. BTW Shiba Inu's look more or less like a coyote, although some hve the color of a nice fox, body build is more or less a coyote. Foxes are way to slender to even look close to a Shiba Inu

                  The best pet ever that isn't normally a pet is a skunk. You can get them from some southern pet stores without their stinker deal in them.

                  They are pretty much just a cat (litter box, louge around etc). But way cooler.

                    Thats pretty much why my girlfriend wanted one. She loves cats, but wanted something cooler. In PA I think that you have to get them straight from the breeder.

                      People breed them moron. And they make pretty good pets. Took me 5 seconds of searching to find that out.

                          Dude... if you don't want one that's fine, just get out of my thread.

                          It seems fennec foxes are the way to go and upon searching the Mississippi wildlife and fisheries website it says all exotics require a "permit". But it doesn't say who can have a permit.

                          Fennec foxes weigh about 3.5 pounds, can eat regular dry or wet dog or cat food, and can be trained to use a litter box.

                          Sounds like an acceptable pet to me.

                              My buddies mom work does something with animals, exotic animal veterinarian? Anyways my friend had a baby lion at his house for a month. It was helarious it was like playing with a cat/dog, and a bad ass factor.
