both same time. chances are I will start leaning spoken much quicker than the rest of the kanji system.

I learned a good bit of the rudimentary japanese in high school.

now that I'm doing a lot of international business with japanese drift companies, I have incentive to finish learning it

Mine's technically Russian, but ever since I started thinking in English, I've considered English my first language. I'm still fluent in Russian but not as eloquent, simply because my vocabulary isn't as advanced (it stopped getting developed at 11).

was russian ever eloquent? My father went there only knowing 300 or so words and got around just fine :D
