They put me in during elementary school because of my race but I've always spoke english with my parents, I couldn't even talk to my grandparents because of the language barrier. I only stayed in ESL because it was easy.sigpicComment

Mine's technically Russian, but ever since I started thinking in English, I've considered English my first language. I'm still fluent in Russian but not as eloquent, simply because my vocabulary isn't as advanced (it stopped getting developed at 11).

Pretty much my situation. I was born in Canada, but when I started school I didn't speak a word of English.
