Anyone here use Pandora?

So a while ago the girl told me about Pandora.com. It's basically an internet program that streams music. But, it only plays songs that are musically similar to any artist you type in. If you like Metal, for instance, type in the name of your favorite song or artist, and it will play a "station" made up of only songs that are musically similar. If you don't like something, or really like it, you can input that into the site too, and the music it plays gets more focused to your musical likes/dislikes.

I'll get off its nuts now, just wondering if anyone else has used it/had experience with it.

I think it's based off something called the "Music Genome Project"- it's a cool idea, but I don't quite know how to explain/introduce it other than that.

Foxy Tunes is cool if you use Firefox. Its a plug in that lets you control your media player from the Firefox browser as well as open a new web page about any artist with videos info on the artist all sorts of stuff.

I didn't know it was possible to download the music it streams, at least not directly form the site. I'm sure there's a way to get around it and download the music as it gets to your computer but that's another story. Other than that, I think they're pretty solid from being shut down. On the outside anyway, there isn't any way to download the music from their site, and there's a message that pops up if you try to skip too many songs in one hour.
