1995 S-10 4 banger 5-speed (spun rod bearing within a week, engine rebuilt under 14 day warranty)

    1991 K5 Blazer (couldn't kill this one)

not gonna count the cars i co-owned as those were fucking disasters

me @ 16, 1998 Golf, whatever the non-turbo four cylinder version was
died via flippage at the hands of me and a friend. thought it would be cool to get hammered and drive some back country roads. fell asleep in the passenger seat and woke up upside down, surprisingly uninjured. that was an interesting night and an astute lesson in life

    me @ 18, 1992 Miata
had to fight my dad to get this car. said it was too impractical to have as my only car. sure did prove him wrong when i turbo'd it and promptly shat the head gasket

    me @ 18, 1996 240sx
college friend sold this to me with a grenaded automatic transmission. i knew very little about working on cars at the time, so he promised to help me source 5speed parts and do the swap. never did. after about six months my parents told me that i needed to get rid of it. same friend heard and offered me 1/3 of what i bought the car for. turns out he's a pretty shitty guy. needless to say, we're not friends any more

    me @ 18~21, 1998 Corolla
probably the most indestructible car i've ever owned. sold because it was boring and i didn't feel like spending money on tires

    me @ 19, 1987 CRX
very fun little car. death by timing belt failure

    me @ 19~20, 2002 Honda Rebel
did ALOT of stupid shit with the rebel. like riding from baltimore to daytona on a whim. good thing they're so damn slow. sold because of slow

    me @ 21/22, 1991 Miata
bought because i was reminiscing on how much i loved my first miata. quickly sold because i didn't have a 30min~1hr commute when i had my first one

    me @ 22~27, 1987 325e
and ooohhhh what a mistake this purchase was. endless money pit. transformed into the fastest car i've ever owned (302 swap with some extras on it). parted out/scrapped because v8 swaps are too much of a compromise in these cars

    me @ 22~now, 1997 Ranger, 2.3 2wd
probably the smartest vehicle purchase i've ever made. you will never regret owning a small truck [unless you wanna tow something heavy]

    me @ 22~now, 2009 Suzuki Gladius
fast, cheap and looks OK. does its job well enough

    me @ 27~now, 1999 323i
hopefully this makes for a better drift car than the e30
