Jesus Christ I can't believe I've been on this board for 10 years what the fuck is wrong with me. 28 years old now.

List now (in the best order I can remember) includes -

    1989 325i (S50 swap, rear-ended and totalled)
1988 Mitsubishi Mighty Max (sold to a buddy)
1986 Nissan Hardbody (sold to a silly kid from Sebastapol who paid way too much for it)
1990 325i (S50 swap, currently blown up in my garage waiting engine replacement)
1995 Jeep Cherokee (lifted, big tires, yada yada)
1992 Honda Civic sedan (great car honestly)
2004 Mini Cooper S (sold to a buddy)
2001 Jeep Cherokee (nothing but issues)
    2012 GTi (liked this car)
1991 325ic (bought for 800 bucks and flipped for 2500)
1998 Jeep Cherokee (lifted, big tires, yada yada)
2013 Jeep Wrangler 4-door (lifted, big tires, yada yada)
2018 Subaru WRX (totally stock and I'm already bored 10k miles in)
1986 325 (family racecar I bought with my brother-in-law and my dad)

    Still own:
    1990 325i S50 car
    2018 WRX
    1986 325

Also, I had a good laugh going through old threads trying to remember which cars I had owned. I was such a fuck years ago lmao

34 and feeling like I haven't owned many cars lol.

1977 KZ400 - bought for $700 at age 15 to get transportation. Still own and use for joyriding.

1986 Golf - bought for $1 when I was 16 with a blown headgasket. Fixed the HG, then 5th gear blew, so replaced the trans from a junkyard, drove for 2 years. Sold to a pizza delivery guy.

1988 325i - bought at 18 after I got a job waiting tables. Was my college car, had a lot of good times. Kept the maintenance UTD E30 style but admittedly was not very responsible and ended up R3V-ing it into a creb on a round-a-bout a few days before I was supposed to drive it out to California for medskool. Had this car for 6 years. Sold it to a rally car team for the engine. Shame because the body was in really good shape but I didn't have time to mess with it.

1996 Civic DX - cheap transportation during school. I looked for an E30 after coming to CA but couldn't find the perfect car so drove this for 2.5 years til I got my current E30.

1989 325i AWII - Currently own. DD for 7.5 years, now garage queen. Unlikely to sell as it's semi-restored and appreciating.

2013 Suzuki V-strom 650 - Bought a year ago so I could have a practical vehicle to ride up in the mountains. Funny but camping in a motorcycle actually is less convenient than camping in an E30 but does cause less wear to your car.. great bike, still own.. the above thought process led to:

2019 Tacoma TRD-OR MT - Bought new 1.5 weeks ago to have a camping/dog-friendly vehicle. Will probably DD this for a long time but will still commute with the E30 and drive it for pleasure. Awesome truck but in a way makes me appreciate how exciting the E30 is since the motorcycles had kind of made me feel bored with a "fun car" so driving the E30 now feels great. I've wanted either an M2 or 911 for a while but just didn't make sense (no garage space and utility) as well as the fact that I love driving my E30 because it's fun to drive "slow" but I recognize that if I got a new M2 I'd probably drive way too fast and screw things up..

    Update time

    29 years old.

1989 Toyota Camry V6 (excellent car, teenage self seriously messed it up, paid cash)
2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R (wrecked this one too, first self financed car as well)
1986 BMW 325es (first E30, was absolutely fantastic, paid 50 dollars for it, probably should have been totaled)
1985 BMW 325e (first modded E30 of mine, paid cash to buy from a friend)
2006 Ninja 250 (traded the E30 for this, learned to ride on two wheels)
1990 325is (friend wrecked it, bought it from him with cash, I later wrecked it all the way)
1991 318is (Kept this one forever. First car I really loved. Tons and tons and tons of modifications. Paid cash from a great guy in SD, later sold and was very sad)
1997 BMW M3 (second financed car, absolute driving machine, drove like it was on rails, huge pain in the ass overall though)
1996 Jeep Cherokee (gifted from best buddy in the USMC. Sold due to lame 2wd, despite how clean it was)
1995 Jeep Cherokee (bought this with proceeds from 96 XJ. Super modified, but badly broken, paid cash from fellow NAU student, eventually died when t-case blew up)
1989 Jeep Cherokee (Bought with cash from good high school buddy. Slightly modified but really really old)
2000 Jeep Cherokee (paid cash to buy from the guy I sold the 95 XJ too after it took a shit. Very clean, slightly modified, but still a crappy jeep, sold to a kid in Phx)
2003 Yamaha R6 (second two wheeled machine, paid cash from a guy who hid its many issues. Insanely fast, but riddled with headaches. Glad to have sold it)
2001 Toyota Tundra V8 (current DD. Paid cash from a sleazy guy down in PHX. Some mods, but subtle. Incredible machine and I have put it through the paces numerous numerous times. Loved that thing. Traded it in for my Tacoma)
2016 Subaru Crosstrek (wife's DD. Great car for roadtrips, cool tech, almost fully loaded, but pretty basic overall)
1990 BMW 325i (brokered the sale for best friend after getting it running again, sold to a guy in LA)
1998 BMW M3/4/5 (bought cash with a blown HG, fixed it, enjoyed it, and sold it to a guy in Phx)
1989 BMW 325i (bought cash, tried to like it, but couldn't due to auto/4 doorness, sold to a couple in CO)
2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 OffRoad (Current DD and poser Overlander build)

I don't envision much happening car wise for me for quite some time. With houses and my current DD sucking up all extra income I won't have any extra time or money to experiment with cars. Time will certainly tell though.

I mean, I paid for it and owned it for about 6 months...it counts.

    I wouldn't count a Honda Prelude, either.
