Almost every car I have owned has payed for itself. Buy the car right, clean it up, and then sell it for more than your in for, you can drive a car for 4-6 months almost for free, and always have a new ride.

In order
Past:
1987 Ford Ranger rwd
1992 Ford Ranger 4wd 4.0L swapped
1991 Explorer 4wd
1988 Ranger (straight axle'd lifted 4wd)
1996 Mazda 626 (commuter car)
2000 Dodge Dakota rwd
1991 318is (AWII, crashed)
Present:
2009 GSXR 750 (White on black, exhaust, tune, and light upgrades)
1984 325e (Henna, piss poor condition body condition. Constantly under the knife)
I miss the 318is, I spent every weekend working on that car to polish off the few very minor issues it had. Minor shit like small rock chips, burnt dash lights, replacing hoses. Every bushing in the whole car was under a year old, no leaks, strong running, shifted smooth, good suspension, full euro kit. Awesome car that I r3v'd like a fag. My eta is my punishment
