I watched a "cam" copy - and really wish I hadn't. I wish I had gone to see it on a big screen - oh well, worth watching again at the movies.

Just DON'T download it. It's really is a movie you need to see on a decent screen. It looses all impact(most all anyways) on a low res version.

I downloaded it (sad I did) and it still scared the living shit out of me. And I don't get scared at movies - I'm usually one or two steps ahead of the writer/director(the "Saw" was boring to me - I saw that coming from a mile away). The last movie to truly impress me was "The Game" - No one can imagine that ending.

But if you like the show "Lost", you LOVE Cloverfield with out a doubt.

finally watched it last night at the discount theatre. It did a great job of putting you in the action. Had me thinking what I would do in every situation.. First thing I would have done after Heli scene is gone underground with the quickness (did they forget what time it was???)

BTW, for those who enjoyed this, you gots to go watch The Mist!
