I don't remember Nickelodeon being around when I was a kid. But to show my age ( and I am sure I will get laughed at on this one ) I watched these shows :
Salute Your Shorts was probably my all time favorite. Ugg was the shit (the counselor).
And the blonde chick on Hey Dude! was Christine Taylor (Ben Stiller's wife), and I don't think she was ever in Playboy. But she did drive an E30 in Zoolander.
You reminded me of Hey Arnold! I never saw that show but there was a kid at school that had a football shaped head and we used to always Yell out "Hey Arnold!" when he was around.
I just noticed Double Dare up there. Funny thing about that show was the host, Marc Summers, has REALLY bad OCD, and absolutely hated doing that show, because of all the mess and nasty shit.
That crap you listed, those are the shitty shows I had to keep my kids from watching (well, mostly). I had to go buy Bugs Bunny cartoons on video tape (yes, pre-DVD) so my kids could watch something that didn't make me puke.
And before you say anything, you WILL do something similar when you have kids.
What was that show with the host, I think her name was Summer Sanders, and they had the brain. And usually people form All That (Which was another good show) and a contestant and the All That crew could only ask yes or no questions to figure out what was written on the brain. Any one know?

Dude, Looney Tunes trumps the ever-loving SHIT out of anything that was on TV since. The shitty part? They don't show them on any channel anymore, at least not that I've found. I've been wanting those DVD collections of them for years.
But Rocko's Modern Life is still one of the greatest cartoons ever made. I wish they would hurry up and put that shit on DVD already.
