HAhahaha yeah man lolzolzolz.
Not so much. Like every presidential candidate there's things he's not perfect with. But he's leagues beyond fucking hillary and obama. Hell, obama puts me to sleep when he makes speeches because they lack any conviction whatsoever.
I care more about the economy than anything else right now, no economy, no country. Lets try to keep the snide comments out of this thread and stick to an actual discussion?Comment

No, my class president wanted to put more vending machines in the school and slides in the playground though. Did it happen? No. What's wrong with him at least saying what the reality of the world today is? Who's to say it will or won't happen? You certainly cant. At the very least it is an attempt to change something, and start turning the ship around could help some. It's better than doing nothing at all and watching us get fucked. Some action even if it doesn't turn out to be all that is ultimately needed, could potentially help some, and its a damn important issue. You seem to want 100% change and if he doesn't get all of what he's talking about done its a complete failure. That's just wrong though. People say stuff to get elected and give their views on subjects, then once they are elected they try to put their ideas into place, some pass, and some don't. It's those that do pass though that make a difference. Nobody can do everything they want, but its a good idea to try to fix at least some of what is so messed up.Comment

Hell, half the reason we ever moved off the gold standard was to secure our placehold in ownership of the majority of the worlds gold, and because we had a trade arrangement with the Saudi family/OPEC that all oil purchases had to be made in US dollars in exchange for protection of the saudi family. Now that people are going around that and backing out of OPEC we need a way to further stabilize the dollar. You can't just 'make up' money for too long when you're no longer an exporter of goods.
Ron paul is the the only presidential candidate that not only is pounding the issue into peoples heads, but also has the backing of people who actually understand the economy.Comment

And the main issue of the Euro vs. USD has very little to do with the United States IMO but rather a shift in the preferred foreign currency used for dollarization and that decreased the value of the dollar a lot as it was less desirable.
Yes, trade inbalance is a big deal and cheap credit but ridding income tax and the central bank won't magically solve issues. We need to take advantage of the exchange rate and focus on exporting and producing here. Which will be soon enough helped if the Chinese exchange rate goes to where it should be naturally without them fixing it.Comment
