We finally just went and got ours done today, we're getting almost $5,000 back. I'm fucking stoked. In the 8 years my wife and I have been together, we've never gotten anything back.

Still waiting for the direct deposit. And I'm actually going to pay bills with it. Gonna use the small check for an IS lip and whatever else I can get. The big check goes to paying my bills. I always blow it but I want to pay off my bills and maybe buy some crap townhome or something similiar by next summer and then wait for the housing bubble to grow.

Hopefully my dad gets me the Sachs suspension for the E34 that he keeps putting off, I tell him its better he spends it on the car before my mom blows it all at the casino or on some purse.

I hope you invest it/put it aside and not into a 24v swap or something, so next time you lose $600 it won't be so devastating.

$3000 is going directly into savings, and with the rest, I'm taking my wife and our daughter for a long weekend to the zoo, OMSI, and some other fun stuff in Portland.
